01In short
Cancel any monthly membership at any time and you won't be charged again. Both monthly and Lifetime memberships have a 14-day cooling-off right at purchase under UK law. Where consumer law gives you stronger rights than this policy describes, those rights apply.
02Monthly memberships (Believer, Ascended)
You can cancel a monthly membership at any time from your account settings. After you cancel:
- You will not be charged again.
- Your access to paid features continues to the end of the current billing period.
- We do not refund partial months. The pro-rated value of unused time is treated as if you had used it.
14-day cooling-off. Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have a 14-day right to cancel a distance-sold subscription. Because Sanctum Arcana is digital content you can access immediately, paying for a membership means asking us to start providing the service straight away — and that means the right to cancel under the 14-day rule may be lost once the service has begun. If you have not used any paid feature within 14 days of purchase, write to support@sanctumarcana.life and we will refund you in full.
If you were charged in error — for example, if a cancellation didn't go through — write to us within 30 days and we will investigate and refund where appropriate.
03Lifetime memberships
Lifetime memberships have a 14-day refund window from the date of purchase, in line with your rights under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Within that window, you can request a full refund — no questions asked — by emailing us from the account address on file.
After 14 days, Lifetime memberships are non-refundable except where:
- The law in your jurisdiction grants you a stronger right (in which case the law applies).
- We shut down the service within the first three years of your purchase, in which case we will offer a partial pro-rata refund as described in the Lifetime Disclaimer.
04Refunds for service problems
Under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. If Sanctum Arcana is not — for example, if a paid feature is materially broken, or the service is unavailable for an extended period due to our fault — you have the right to ask us to put it right and, where we cannot, to a price reduction or refund proportionate to the problem.
If you live in the EU or another jurisdiction with comparable consumer-protection laws, equivalent rights apply.
Write to support@sanctumarcana.life, tell us what isn't working, and we will take it seriously and reply quickly. We would rather hear about a problem and put it right than have you leave quietly.
05How to request a refund
Send an email to support@sanctumarcana.life from the address on your account. Include:
- Your account email.
- Approximate date of purchase.
- Brief reason (optional but helpful).
We aim to respond within one working day and process approved refunds within five working days. The refund is sent back to the card or method you originally paid with — Stripe handles the actual transfer, and a refund can take a further 5–10 working days to appear on your statement depending on your bank.
06Chargebacks
If something has gone wrong with a charge, please email us before opening a chargeback with your bank. We can almost always sort things out faster directly, and we would rather know about a problem than have a dispute filed against us without warning. Repeated chargebacks without prior contact may result in your account being closed.
07Your statutory rights
Nothing in this Refund Policy limits the rights you have under UK consumer-protection law — including the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, the Consumer Rights Act 2015, and any other applicable law. If you live in the EU or another jurisdiction, your equivalent local consumer-protection rights apply. Where any law gives you stronger rights than this policy describes, those rights apply.
